Sollers buys all Russian assets of Japan's carmaker Isuzu
MOSCOW, Jul 14 (PRIME) -- Russian carmaker Sollers has closed a deal to buy 100% of the Russian asset of Japan's light commercial vehicle (LCV) maker Isuzu, Sollers said in a statement on Friday.
“Sollers announces the closing of the deal on the acquisition of 100% of shares of Isuzu Rus. Under the acquired legal entity, Sollers will supply spare parts for Isuzu trucks in order to fulfill warranty obligations to customers and perform service maintenance,” the statement read.
Sollers also plans to restart the operation of the production site of Isuzu Rus in Ulyanovsk, the company also said.
